Leadership

Omar Hawit, Founder and CEO

Omar founded TerraformAEC, Inc as an architectural engineer focused on sustainable design with a specialty in building systems and resource conservation. An engineering graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, he was inspired by work with renewable energy and thermal systems for the built environment. Since, he has gained experience in project management, systems planning and design, and construction administration of various project types globally. Active with many professional organizations, he has published articles on topics like the Water-Energy Nexus in the ASHRAE Journal and served the organization for the advancement of a sustainable built environment in such positions as the National Capital Chapter President.
